AU's website, www.Mindlink.org, was created and developed by Advocacy Unlimited, Inc. to meet the informational, support, and networking needs of people with, or in recovery from, psychiatric disabilities or co-occurring disorders, their families, and their supporters across Connecticut.

The website's purpose is:

To provide a wealth of information, resources, and support for persons with, or in recovery from, psychiatric disabilities or co-occurring disorders.
To provide a mechanism for promoting cooperation, affirmation, and inspiration across all cultures and communities.
To establish a network dedicated to improving the emotional and physical health of people with, or in recovery from, psychiatric disabilities or co-occurring disorders, consumer supporters, consumer groups, and consumer supporter groups by linking them together in a unified network.
To bring together and provide a place where individuals can exchange ideas, learn skills, brainstorm problems, and unite for action when needed; to play a central role in shaping the policies and services that affect their lives so that a Loud, Clear, and United Voice will be heard.
To support the efforts of consumers through educational and resource materials, legislative action alerts, employment announcements, and other relevant information on meetings and educational opportunities.
To assist providers of services and family members with needed information to support individuals in their choices.
To maximize the social, employment, educational, and housing opportunities for individuals by removing barriers through information and awareness.
To maximize the impact of the network by providing materials that de-stigmatize or demystify mental illness and promote heightened sensitivities and greater consumer empowerment.
